Zimela, pronounced (ZIM- MEH- LA), is the word for "Representation" in isiXhosa, the South African language that Marvel's Black Panther used in Wakanda. isiXhosa is one of South Africa’s 11 official languages and used in the film to solidify the story’s African authenticity.
